Architectural Portfolio Management
In addition to working with builders and developers on home plans from concept to completion, we also partner with clients on Architectural Portfolio Management, or APM. This includes services such as updating existing plans to current codes, designing elevations to meet new community standards, and refreshing plans to adapt to current market demands.
Architectural Portfolio Management Services
KGA’s Architectural Portfolio Management services include:
- Review, troubleshoot, and organize plan files for ease of use now and in the future. We can also make recommendations and train your team to adopt more efficient systems that work within your existing system.
- Create construction drawings for existing plans from any stage in the design process.
- Plan reviews for retooling/design input on existing elevations or floor plans.
- Value Engineering consultation.
- Develop a “kit of parts” with your construction team.
- Plan, elevation, details and section revisions and modifications required for re-use of existing plans in new communities.
- Prepare Design Review Board (DRB) submittal package using existing base files. This could include 3D renderings, material selections & colors, and other design review requirements.
- Assist with consultant coordination (such as MEP, Structural, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architect, etc.).
- Create option packages to meet your target market.
- Redline pick-up, such as quality control review, value engineering, frame walk, design, or construction edits.
- CAD file conversions to REVIT.
- Renderings for marketing purposes.
